Director

Christopher Ash completed his architectural training at Cambridge University in 1991, passing with Commendation. In 1997 he established the Project Orange studio in London and drove its development over the following years with an expanding portfolio of residential, commercial and hospitality projects in the UK and overseas. Significant projects have included multi-award winning residential and commercial mixed use developments in Sheffield, Room2 Chiswick (London), the world’s first Net Zero new build apart hotel, and the comprehensive refurbishment of the Swan Hotel in Southwold for Adnams. He also led the studios largest project to date, the £40m new build housing scheme in Canning Town for English Cities Fund.

Christopher is currently designing new residential and hotel projects in the UK and Ireland. The former include a number of single private houses and multi-dwelling schemes in Suffolk where the studio is now located.

Christopher has served for a number of years as an examiner of the professional practice award (part 3) at the Architectural Association in London and sits on the RIBA Suffolk design review panel.
