Since joining Project Orange in 2018, Leslie has worked on various hotel projects including the Fitzwilliam Hotel, No.22 St Stephens Green, The Park Hotel in India as well as numerous small scale residential projects located in London and Suffolk. Leslie gained his RIBA Part 3 qualification at the University of Westminster. In his time at the practice, he has developed expertise in hotel interior design and technical detailing.

Leslie completed his architectural studies in Sheffield, having completed his degree at the University of Sheffield and his Masters qualifications at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating with a distinction grade. He has been mentioned in the July 2017 Student Issue of the Architects’ Journal as most outstanding student for his final year design project which has also been nominated for the RIBA Student Silver President Medal Awards. The project questions the implications and trends on our urban environment as the world accelerates towards a technological singularity where architecture becomes an interface with the human mind, body and soul.

Straight after graduating in Sheffield, Leslie was specially chosen to carry out an academic research/mapping project to mapping solidarity economies in Tinsley where he held his public exhibition to showcase his new ‘tool’ to set a framework for alternative mapping methods as the first precedent for a wider network of research projects undertaken by universities in Europe.
Prior to joining Project Orange, Leslie has professional experience working in the healthcare sector and small residential projects. Leslie also worked as a fashion designer for a Sheffield based streetwear brand whilst working as a freelance artist.

Outside work in practice, Leslie enjoys painting, skateboarding, and building vintage bicycles.
