Our brief was to design a sexy snaking bar to the club space within the historic Kensington Roof Gardens, owned by the Virgin group. The club is situated on the sixth floor of the building and there was already a bar within the space. The challenge was to work with the existing condition but to add on three further mixing stations and till points. We developed a specially fabricated double curved pewter bar with a curved back bar following the line of the existing bay window. The bottle display on top is made from frosted Perspex sections that are uplit with violet light. The whole installation took 2 weeks and was carried out while the rest of the function space was being used.
