Project Orange developed the idea of a sophisticated but playful retail environment for children using a broad palette of materials, textures and colours. The shop front is a delicate shade of eau de nil with the recognisable gold Monsoon logo in front. Within the store on either side of the shop window are fragmented strips of mirror interspersed with brightly coloured elements creating a collage of colour and reflections.

Inside the floor is made up of random mix of grey Italian stone laced with strips of mosaic tiles, a mix of reds, purples and pinks almost looking like a row of sweeties. The ceiling has five large circular cutouts which are illuminated in different pastel colours. The till point is located in the middle of the shop and made of strips of mirror to the front, topped by a sparkling block of greeny/blue terrazzo. Wall panels are lacquered violet and illuminated by small crystal wall lights. The changing room is a free standing tubular element painted bright green and entered through a pale blue polka dot curtain.
