The brief for Nhow Brussels was to create an ‘Art Hotel’ which we interpreted as a series of galleries and installations. The entrance is a typical ‘white box’ featuring an oversized hotel bed where guests can enjoy a series of curated projections. A chandelier is made from redundant TV screens/ The restaurant and bar reflect the local tradition of covering the public squares in carpets of flowers, while a glass wall offers views into an artists studio. The bedrooms are simple spaces with oversized canvas’ that slide across the TV, while the bathrooms have been turned into a photgraphers dark room.
