Working alongside Peabody we undertook a series of studies within Thamesmead to understand how particular neigbourhoods can benefit from an inclusive redesign. Looking at connectivity in the wider context, our studies proposed new housing and landscape typologies within the existing urban fabric. Peabody’s whole place philosophy takes a placemaking approach that pays attention to: connectivity, economic resilience, healthy environment and quality homes, sustainability, strong community, distinct Identify, activities and good governance.
