This is the second book celebrating our projects in Suffolk and East Anglia. In 2021 we moved our studio to Hidden House in Lavenham, where we also live.
Project Orange have collected together their recent architectural work showcasing completed projects as well as those that are work in progress.
“By repositioning the relationship between practice and process, and evaluating processes against outcomes, Project Orange have sought to use the latest issue of PO BOX as a vehicle to determine how they can begin to move the debate surrounding the climate emergency forward.” Rae Whittow-Williams, Foreword to HELP!
For the third issue of our research “zine” we chose to look at the theme Housing, House and Home. PO Box 3 is a collection of short essays each written by a member of the practice about a topic of their choice within the wider theme.
This book focusses solely on residential projects undertaken by Project Orange over the last 10 years, ranging from one off houses to large multi-unit developments.
Project Orange have been designing hotels around the world for almost 12 years. We enjoy the challenge of different cultures, new places and contrasting briefs. Our philosophy is always to create an original hotel that combines inspired design with intelligent logistics. We also believe that the process is a collaboration between all parties, and that the conversations along the way inform the final results.
This is the brochure from the exhibition we hosted in our studio over the Summer. Part of the London Festival of Architecture, the exhibition was an overview of our work in progress in the housing sector.
We continue to be inspired by the relationship between theory and practice; how this informs our work and provides inspiration for the office. This is our second edition of PO Box. The collection of short essays written by the current PO team explores the challenging issue of representation and explores this through our own work in practice.
As the name implies, this is the third in a series of catalogues about our work. The concept for our third book is to use photography as a starting point to speculate on the nature of our completed work.
Catalogue 2 is a collection of our work presented as full-page photographs and no text, with only a key at the end.
Catalogue One is Project Orange's first collection of our architecture and design works. Purchase on Amazon.

This collection of essays has been a year long project. It represents a modest but determined attempt to triangulate between theory and practice, between the world of ideas and the world of building.
